It's time for me to make my Christmas list, and I need help in which CD's to request...for every artist listed, which would be their best CD to own?:

Old Blind Dogs
Karen Casey
Kate Rusby
Tim O'Brien
Dougie Maclean
Lucy Kaplansky
Ellis Paul
Jonatha Brooke
Robin Bullock
Maura O'Connell
Lunasa
Battlefield Band
Poozies
Danu

Many thanks.

My apologies, friends. I would be interested in your CD's as well. :)

Jeez, I hate to add yet another not-on-your-list suggestion, especially before you've gotten a single reponse to your actual request, BUT:

Readers of this thread might well consider that rarest of releases: a brand-new album from a long-dead artist, the patron saint of fingerpicking -- Mississippi John Hurt's "D.C. Blues."

I odn't want any of the above, but thank you anyway. A couple of Martin SImpson CDs would be nice, though.
