Village members night. I'll probably hang around afterwards. Isn't it amazing what goes on in places like Walesby?

Got the Christmas Carols sorted.

I expect everybody to raise the roof with um. All the favourites.

Away In A Manger
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
The First Noel
Oh Come, All Ye Faithful
Silent Night
We Wish You a Merry Christmas
God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen
O Little Town of Bethlehem
The Twelve Days of Christmas

Any artists that want to do 2 christmas numbers in the first half please let me know. I will have one hour allocated for this.
I am sure the Christmas Carol Orchestra would be pleased to provide backing to any singer.
It should not include any of the numbers mentioned above, and I will need to know what they are.

I am also looking for any mummers who would like to do a Christmas 15 minute session in the first half. Any takers? Its for a good cause.

Cheers
Les

Les, I'm double booked. It's my work's Christmas do, so I have to be there to entertain my staff and ply them generously with alcoholic beverage. Sorry mate, you'll have to count me out. Shite!

Sadly Mick and I can't make this one as M is appearing in a classical guitar concert in Derbyshire. Pity. I'd really like to go to a Swarbaid 'do'.

The line up now is as follows :-

first hour

Lucy Wright and Paul Young
Sue Dewsbury
Jane Kitchen

Mummers session

?????????

Break

Second half

Parcel of Rogues (main guests)

Christmas Carols Orchestra - Helen Bennett (Piano), Dave Oakley (Fiddle), Liam Robinson (Melodeon)

A suggestion was that everybody that is able to, should come in christmas dress up. Not sure exactly what that means, but I might come with my sparkling Baubble earrings on.

The police won't be out at Walesby, so come dressed as you feel fit, you won't get locked away. LOL :-)
