Subject: BS:CHRISTMAS IN GLAISDALE
From: Paco Rabanne

Hola Folkies,
My beloved and I will staying at her house in sunny Glaisdale for two weeks over the christmas period, and we extend a cordial invite to any of you who might be in the area, to pop in for a small sherry or two. Be warned though, the house is built of stone and 250years old and the only heating is provided by two huge open fires, so wear your tights! The only other drawback is that I WILL play flamenco guitar at you!
             PM for more details.
Flamenco the true path!

Not guilty El Ted. Dafid is mega ill with Flo whilst I wouldn'd stoop so low. Xmas in Glaisdale sounds good to me. I have a 3-season tent. What season is Xmas in? If it's in the 4th season then I'll have to drive my pegs through Penny's carpet near the fire. Will that be a problem?

No problem Dereck/Derrick/Derek. We have two spare bedrooms doing bugger all, you can pitch your tent upstairs.

Pointless bringing your bike to Glaisdale though - unless you want to stick in the highest gear you can and mountain a steady rate of one mile an hour.

..meanwhile, back to Glaisdale. A delightful small village nestling in the lee of the evocative North Yorkshire Moors, haunted by curlews and a dwindling population of rabbits (courtesty of local lurchers). This rural paradise, this idyllic corner of Britain.   But what is this? The occasional cyclist is to be seen, in a very high gear labouring up a gentle incline. His sensitive enamelled finger nails are wrapped up in cotton gloves in case of an accident. white clouds of steam can be seen from a distance as the bitter cold shows illuminates his sharp breathing - the product of 30 samson a day/ A rifle cracks, a sausage is consumed as the gloaming settles over Lazydale.
