I was at the Gate Theatre in Dublin at Dubliner's concert - would have been 1963 at a guess - and when the second half curtains opened the stage was entirely empty. Luke began at the back of the theatre and slowly walked down the aisle singing "Blackwaterside" ("One evening fair just to take the air......). One of my finest ever moments in folk music.
