Only cat I ever had that'd actually fetch tings & drop 'em at my feet to have me toss 'em again. When we moved to Depoe Bay, Oregon, Running Bear became an outdoor cat. Came in to eat. Used to bring me gifts from the ocean---snakes and mice, still alive, would be dropped into my boot for me to find when I put 'em on in the morning. After moving back to Chicago, years later, Running Bear couldn't/wouldn't be kept inside. Sadly, got killed by a car. Art |
