Ooh goodie, I should be there as well, the snows gone now thank god. I am looking forward to a nice pint or two tonight, I was at The Rose and Crown session last night well out of my depth and all the Ale was UNDRINKABLE. I felt very sorry for Derrick cos he was not driving. Never mind I should be going to Southport tomorrow to that Slow Easy Tunes Session. (I hope) See you all soon.

Hi everyone - I haven't been able to get on Mudact for a few days

No - I'm not going to Breezeys this weekend - St Albans is to far when it's cold

I went to the Blue Anchor last Tuesday - saw Derrick - who was in fine form - it was a good session - Makeyourowndinner was brilliant

Saw Bertie on Wednesday at the Bull - we played some blues with a man named John

We won at dominoes on Thursday - 4 to 1 against Barton Rovers

I watched the Celtic Connections on BBC 4 last night - they reckon there is a folk revival (again) - I can't see much of it at the grass roots level

I am really looking forward to the Paul Simon night - look forward to seeing everyone

Yes here is my report. A very super evening, full of excellent singers and players. And great ale. How about that, is that in depth enough for you? Oh and I just got the sock joke, you are indeed    "A Most Percular Man" or how ever you spell it. Speaking of which, I have just got back from Southport which is 400 miles round trip, to see ButtonBox and to play with him and his friends for one hour. How odd is that?

07 Mar 05 - 12:43 PM (#1428939)
Subject: RE: Bull, Barton, Beds - March 05 things
From: silverfish

I still haven't learnt any Simon songs since last year - does that mean I'm barred from to tonight? Or does it mean if I come I have to baa in the choruses while at the bar? It's all too much for my rapidly deteriorating brain...
I know!
If I can get over I'll be an audient.
With any luck someone else will turn up, then we can collectively be an audience, which is what all performers need to be fulfilled, so I'm tolled...
Although I get the feeling all some performers need is a couple of pints...

Subject: RE: Bull, Barton, Beds - March 05 things
From: The Unicorn Man

That second bit about the pints is right. Cheers. And Alan I don't think they had the plague over there at the same time. They must have forgoten to write one. PS anyone can play anything they want to. So make a new plan Stan, get out the back Jack and listern to me.

Letchworth was very good - Tom Lewis is an excellent purveyor of traditional song

Particular like the one about if I had a boat & I had a pony; I'd sail out on the ocean & ride my pony on my boat

great support from 'Run of the Mill' from Blue Anchor/Redbourn

And even I got to sing two songs - luckily the audience stayed

Hi Martin - sorry to confuse you

Rachel and Bob are staying (I think - as far as I know) - Bob has grand plans to form a smokers paradise outside the pub with patio heaters and luxury timber furniture

There is a pyschic night in the back function room tonight if anybody wants a reading

Were playing dominoes away at the Bedford Arms in Toddington
