This land of ours

Can anyone direct me to the words of a pleasantly patriotic song about Canada (written, I think, by Oscar Brand) with a chorus having the last line "Something to sing about, this land of ours"?

Many thanks.

I don't know if it's the same song, but there was a thread in October that mentioned Something To Sing About. If you set a 90 day filter for 'Somthing' (leave out the 'e') then you'll find it.

Slan go foill!

"From the Vancouver Islands to the Alberta Highlands
Cross the Prairies, the Lakes to Ontario's towers;
From the sound of Mount Royal's chimes
Out to the Maritimes
Something to sing about, this land of ours.

We've got something to sing about
Tune up a string about
Call out in chorus or quietly hum
Dum dum de dum dum dum, dum dum de dum dum dum
Something to sing about, this land of ours.

It was the theme music for a (Canadian, obviously) travelogue kind of TV show in the early 70's, which was I called, I think either "Something to sing about" WHICH i'M PRETTY SURE IS THE TITLE OF THE SONG, or "This Land."

That much I remember. Now I feel pretty gray.
