My favorite RH albums are "Bullinamingvase" (brilliant in its entirety) and "Folkjokeopus" (featuring "She's the One", the song that helped me see the error of my youthful ways regarding a relationship). You can get in at: http://www.mistlethrush.co.uk/stormcock Roy's always had strong views poitical/a-politcal and religious and on anything else that affects the current landlords of the planet. His 'lord's prayer' is a mammoth poem, a bit complex but as Roy says, 'don't be afraid, its only a movie'....or words to that effect. No what you mean about 'Folkjokeopus' michaelr....probably the first album i listened to in a mates bedroom.....that and 'Ghengis Smith'. I reckon so many of his recordings are so good it's hard to find a fave but 'Stormcock' must rate as one of thee greats. |

Seen him tons, met him, and his babe of an American wife Tracey. Met Nick too! I took my 15 year old son who's into 50 cent, Eminem etc and wears a baseball cap and tucks his trackies in his socks (well did do a year or so ago), you know a proper stereotype thug in many eyes and he was awestruck by Nick's singing and amazing guitar skills! He has got some of his mates into him which freaks me out in the best way! Check out 'Double Life' a collection of live recordings from Nick that will blow your mind!!! Must point out to Dave the gnome that Roy's mam died two weeks after he was born, so you must have seen his stepmum/aunt! Hi to Alan Insurance and VIN! Dying to get hold of the new single 'The Death of God'.....April 20th according to Roy's site.
