15 Dec 98 - 09:31 PM (#49660) Subject: RE: Threads Over 365 Days From: Bill D Reta..large amounts of the songs posted in the forum ARE added to the database..Dick Greenhaus edits and chooses..(someone has to decide!) Some things are missed accidently, some are left out because they are not really appropriate or are almost duplicates, etc. Remember..in order to take songs from here and add them to the database, Dick had to read almost EVERYTHING...and then copy and edit and label..etc. This is in addition to mundane things like eating & sleeping! He does have help from Susan of DT..(exactly how they divvy up the tasks, I don't know) I think it is amazing how much IS found and entered.... |

In my two years here, I've learned lots more than just lyrics. The stories behind the lyrics, and all the other information about music and life in general, all that is priceless. Already many songs have a bit of credits after them, so I know he can do something. I just can't say if this is worth the effort. |
