Al
You would be very welcome.
Yes it is and there is 2/3 disabled car spaces in the car park at the rear of the Village hall.
There is a disabled entrance to the hall at the rear without steps.
Their is a lovely disabled toilet. One of the best I have seen at a village hall.
They have it here.
If you get there early, there is a lovely pub on the opposite side of the road.
I can reserve your parking space.
Les

No MoorlyMan, get somebody to give you a lift. :-) I have 25 minute floorspots available, depending on when you get that lift.

See as many as possible tonight, with what should be a very nice evening, with lots of variety.

Remember bring you own food and drinks and rotten eggs and tomatoes to throw at the artists LOL :-)

Thanks Barry
We will be looking forward to seeing Rhyzome.

There were quite a few people on holiday etc, so I was fearing the worst. However there were over 30 there including artists. I broke even, which I am very pleased about considering the time of year and the first folk club gig.

Tonight was excellent. The accoustics are great.

A very big thankyou to Gwenda & Terry, Phil Brougham, Mike and Sue (Stitherum), Mike, John and David (CARA), Big Al Whittle and Dave and Kip (Winter Wilson). They all put cracking performances in. I had lots of very good comments about the night.

I would also like to thank all the stalwarts, who didn't desert me after a 4 month layoff and the newbies from Faldingworth (Who told me they thoroughly enjoyed the evening).

Les

And so to the scarecrow event next week at Faldingworth on Saturday June the 25th. details can be found on my website http://www.marketrasenfolkclub.co.uk

Yes indeed a really nice place to try out your singing. I recommend it to everybody.

I was a bit a disappointed . I have just ordered one of those aer guitar amps and I had hoped to play it but it won't be here til next week. Also my wife forbade me from singing my new song about Citroen Saxo drivers on account of it being very rude indeed, and they all looked like nice people. But otherwise it was interesting to boldly go and discover new life forms, and head back down the empty roads at warp factor ten.

do they still have those speed cameras working when the A46 is empty at 1 0'clock in the morning. I guess we'll know if nothing arrives in the post in the next day or three.

What a pleasant evening!
Very much enjoyed your set, Al. As for W-W they just get better. Nice to see Phil make his up front MR debut as well. (All us old 'uns weren't so bad either.)
You are a lucky man, Les!

I was in bed by 9.30 pm. 10-hour days slogging over a hot spreadsheet are taking their toll on this old codger - sorry to miss out Les, the spirit was willing but the flesh was weak. Glad you had a great neet, and I promise to be there next time!

I am lucky Sue. The lincolnshire area is just teaming with talent.

All I can say is that last night was in the top bracket from everyone, and certainly lived up to the expectations of what Market Rasen Folk Club stands for.

I had some custard for me breakfast. It had some crumbly bits in. But it sure tatsed nice.
