happy? - June 17 (Watergate)

The Watergate break-in was 6/17/1972

        The walls have ears and the ceiling has eyes
        And the waiter was an agent in disguise;
        How can I tell you I love you, dear,
        When I know the walls have ears?

"Watergate does not bother me
But tell me true
Does your conscience bother you?"

At least, I think I'm remembering this right.

Skynyrd are big in this house, thanks for the correction.
BTW, there is a very good Spanish parody "Minna Terra Galega"- "My Land is Galicia".

Today is my guitar's 'birthday' - 6/17/1937, Martin O-28. This was conveyed to me years ago by the guru of Martin guitars, the late Mike Longworth.

I miss Mike Longworth. We had some fine talks the years I played the big festival in Winfield, Kansas. --- He never forgave me for converting the Martin D-76 I won in a raffle to a 9-string guitar. I had good reasons though.
