BS: A new Mudcat member

We have a new member called Heartfrog. He's quite a shy little guy, plays guitar but so far he has only learned part of Achy Breaky Heart, although his ending of that song is superb. Tinker introduced him to me a few months ago and he liked Maine so much he decided to stay.

Heartfrog's ambition in life is to get into a clinch with more of the Mudcat ladies than Kendall has. With this in mind he came to Old Songs this weekend and, as they say, got about a bit. Photos will be sent to Jeff for the events section, where I'm hoping we can get him his own little niche.

He's talking about going to SINSULL's song circle this weekend so watch out ladies, he'll be looking out for you! Sins and I will be trying to help him fulfill his ambition over the next few months but we may need volunteers later on to allow him to travel farther afield.

Watch out for his posts in the next couple of days, I'm sure that he will have a lot to say about the warm welcome he got from 'Catters at Old Songs.

LTS - He's insisting on coming! Depending on timing he may stay in the UK for a while after I come back to the USA, if he can travel around meeting more Mudcat ladies!

Ya know, Heartfrog is the only shy guy I know who is quite so flashy in his dress. I'm so glad he decided to settle down for a while. I was afraid he and Kendall would end up in a permenant disagreement of styles. I'm waiting to see the photos. If he stays for a visit in the UK he absolutely has to return for Getaway !!!

He'll be back for the Getaway, whatever happens. I don't think this lad is going to miss any opportunity to get together with the Mudcat ladies!

There was a bit of a problem with Kendall, but a spell in the cellar soon sorted that out.

shy guy ..... flashy in his dress?

this lad needs an opportunity to get together with the ladies?

I have yet to meet a "lady" on the MC....and most folk of his discription are on their way-to/from SF

There are some ladies on the Mudcat.... you just haven't seen them in the right environment......

I suspect he would get on well with Geoff the Duck.. they'd be in a clash of their own.

Way down yonder in Yankity Yank
A Heart Frog jumped from bank to bank
Cause he hadn't nothin' else to do
He stubbed his toe and in he fell
And the neighbors all say that he went to...well
Cause he hadn't nothin' else to do.

Some frogs I know is powerful fond
Of hanging 'round in another frog's pond
When they haven't 'nothin' else to do
But this consolation the good book brings
Frogs of them habits never wear no wings
When they haven't nothin' else to do.
