Its just yon side of Lancaster, before you get to the Lake District.....the railway station at Carnforth is where they filmed Brief Encounter, so I needn't worry if I get some grit in my eye!

Mike
I can tell you that it will be an excellent evening as usual. Something not to be missed. Don't forget to bring your candle food and drink :-)
As for me singing, well I want people to come back, so I will leave it up to the likes of Strollin', Mr & Mrs Sooze, The armoury Boys Skiffle band, Flossie and Dick Appleton. Smashing line up me thinks.

Are you coming to Bakewell on the Saturday to see Cara then, plus Big Al Whittle and Rhyzome and Flossie?

Look forward to seeing you on Friday.
Cheers
Les

You might need em with the looks of the weather forecast. Still a little bit of mud didn't hurt anybody - did it.

You never know, you could end up having mud wrestling matches.

Seriously, hope the weather is good, especially as we are on holiday as well :-)

Sooz you are a cheeky sod :-)

Well I have to say that for those people who missed tonight, you missed a brilliant evening.

Great turnout - I would think just over 50 including the performers. Not bad for an August Bank Holiday Friday.

My thanks go to all the performers for making such a smashing evening.

I got stopped by the police on the way home. I am so glad I don't drink alcohol anymore.
