About the best revival ballad singer ever (Including so many great ones), Peter Bellamy was born 9/8/1944 He was born in Bournemouth, England. The son of a farm bailiff, he was brought up near Wells next-the-Sea in Norfolk. Bellamy's last gig was Sept. 2, 1991 and his suicide Sept. 24th. (Per notes in the CD, "Wake the Vaulted Echoes" and see bio at From Dirty Linen #37) It may be the dates given are those when he was last seen alive and when his body was found, ie that it is uncertain when he actually died.)
