Henry the Acoustic Fly

Rather fond of Richard Thompson's first solo album (ok, not at one complete sitting, it's a bit too gloomy that way) and like his acoustic work best, so was wondering how many of these, if any, he's recorded as acoustic.

You might be able to find out by checking the discographies at: Beesweb (official site). You could also look at these:
Henry The Human Fly (songs and recordings of RT) and The Guitar of Richard Thompson

(These are sites I have bookmarked - there are others with RT discographies).

His new one, "Front Parlour Ballads", is all acoustic. A very fine record. There was a live one from 1984, "Small Town Romance" which is solo acoustic. 1981's "Strict Tempo" is about 50% acoustic. Official Bootlegs are available from Beesweb; some are acoustic.

Cheers,
Michael

"You, Me, Us" is a terrific double album circa 1996. One cd is all electric, subtitled "Voltage Enhanced" and the other is all acoustic, subtitled "Nude."
