The McGarrigle Sisters and Tom Russell on the same show. Wow!

Tom Russell does a version of Leonard Cohen's "Tower of Song" and the McGarrigles have been part of the big Cohen tributes in New York and London. Maybe you can get them to do that song together.

I'll be driving into Montreal on Thursday and coming to the Russell concert that night and Finest Kind's there on Friday before going on to Ottawa on Saturday for the Canadian Folk Music Awards. Should be quite the weekend.

I was at the Tom and Andrew performance aat Fellows...sorry, Bellows Falls, someday I'll get that right...last night, and I'm still coming down. BF is sort of the "headquarters" for the train tours they do in Canada, etc., and they feel they're among friends there. They get on pretty much of a roll.

The room is tiny, and we got there early, so I got a seat directly in front of Andrew, and about 6 feet from him, so I could see exactly what he was doing.

It didn't help.

40 years ago, in the old Club 47, I had a similiar seating for Doc Watson, and it didn't help then either.

Good, though.

Peter.
