21 Jan 99 - 06:36 AM (#55030) Subject: RE: Australian Celtic/Folk Events, Jan-Jun From: alison Hi, Oz folk is still offline... should be back end of this month... from memory.... in NSW (and ACT) Blue Mountains Folk Festival - Katoomba 26-29/2/99 (some big overseas names at this one) Jamberoo 17-28/3/99 (lovely festival... overseas and local talent) The National Folk Festival - Canberra - Easter St Alban's Folk Festival - sometime in April (very small and intimate..... lovely setting... usually have a good bush dance with a quiet red headed Irish whistle player in the bush band..... who could she be.. I wonder **grin**) If you have access to the "Cornstalk" (magasine of the folk Federation of NSW) you'll get more info and more accurate dates.
