It said Pete had a good day, watching the football on TV, drank a couple of pints of Guinness and passed away peacefully in his sleep. Paul Burke (who also used to go to the Washhouse in the 60s) sang "In my Liverpool home" at the Bournemouth folk club last Sunday. Kitty |

Pete was a very good egg, and he was far more than just a writer, of songs, or stories. He was a good man who had many aspects to him. There were many people who paid their respects, and he deserved them all. I still marvel at his performance with the kettle, but there were many more. Rest in peace, a good man. |
