27 Apr 06 - 05:26 AM (#1728602) Subject: RE: Can I get a hat like this in England? From: Big Al Whittle the thing is we don't choose what songs it occurs to us to write. and still less which ones of those we write, are going to be successful. and the ones I write, and the ones that people notice - well a hat like that sort of suits them. otherwise I'd have chosen to be Paul Simon and write his songs. I don't think I would have chosen to be a great author like James Joyce - a lot of misery involved in that life - I'd have chosen to be Agatha Christie, and be very rich - though being a woman might have been difficult. |
