Finally! Wyoming's only National Public Radio Station, KUWR, at the University of WY, Laramie, played good music, today! Three cuts from Art Thieme's new CD, "The older I get, the better I was".I've been so frustrated with them for the past two years because their format has basically gone to SH#*, except for Prairie Home Companion, Thistle & Shamrock and a couple of other programs. During the week, one can turn one's radio on and NOT tell the difference between them and one of several rock/pop/oldies stations in town! Today, I decided to try their "All Things Acoustic" program one more time, as I hadn't listened in ages. Imagine how delighted I was when I heard they would start off the next hour, with several cuts from Art Thieme's new CD, right after the news! Art, it sounded great! Loved your joke about going to the liquor store with the ghost of your dog! They also gave the 800 number etc. for purchasing your very own CD. Get it "folks" it is gggrrrrreat! Katlaughing |

From: ANNE If you can't get what you want from your local public radio station, try dialing into some college radio stations via your computer in Real Time. I was able to listen to all the folk music and other music as well from WWUH, The University of Hartford. They're located at 91.3 in the Hartford, CT region. I have also listened to WFUV. (Fordam Univ.) Good Luck. Anne |

Thanks. I used to listen to them when I lived in CT. I do listen to several on my computer, that's why I never listen to the local one I mentioned before. My favorite is at
