From: Carol Yes I've just been searching and can't find much about 2006 Norwell Happening but it's definately on and I'm going! It's free camping and singing in The Plough pub, good atmosphere. I If you find it's too dear for a taxi from Newark PM me and perhaps we can come to some arrangement to collect you, but not too late on the Friday evening as I would want to be in the pub!!! |

From: My guru always said Well, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit last weekend, so it definitely happened as it said on the webpage linked above. Thanks to Murf & Gwen for an excellent weekend! Lovely friendly pub about 50 yards walk from the camping field, lots of friendly Folkies & great singing. They even sorted the weather out for us! Having had a dreadful journey up there (3 hours on the M25 etc) we chilled out really quickly and had a great time! Roll on 2014!! |

From: GUEST,padgett starts today Friday, probably start 7.30 pm NG23 post code ~ small village near the A1 ~ one pub! so you can't go wrong nr Newark ~ last bit of rd is quite a way and cross the railway, unmanned!! watch out for rd sign which is near non existent Camping for all tents and camper vans etc plenty of room and a portaloo Take all self survival stuff picks shovels (no no joking) Friendly bunch, largely unaccompanied well received tho' acoustic instruments played for accompaniment ok ~ food and beer at the pub Hope this is ok for the "management£ as a description ~ er um (I am not official lol) I believe finish Sunday a contribution towards hire of field etc welcome Ray |
