Hi,

We're off to the Forest of Dean this Friday Saturday and Sunday - does anyone know of any sessions/singarounds/festivals locally over this period? Any info would be appreciated.

I've e-mailed this thread link to Faith Myers, who lives in FoD, just in case she knows of any local sessions.

The Malt Shovel website - they don't mention a session, but there's contact details for the pub, and a map.

The Malt Shovel has changed hands, and the new landlord doesn't want the session any more, so for July we went to Chris & Bev's house. No session August: Chris is hoping to resume from September, probably at one of the pubs in Whitecroft (between Lydney and Parkend)

Mr Red's Mid-West is a very good source for folk stuff in Gloucs and surrounding counties
