BS: August: (inter)National Art Making Month

This idea was thought up by a non-Mudcatter, but I thought Mudcatters, especially, would appreciate it.

Inspired by National Novel Writing Month, which happens every November, an on-line friend of mine has decided to declare that August is
National Art-Making Month. However, unlike NaNoWriMo (as it's called), where the goal is to write a single 50,000 word novel in 30 days, the goal of NaArMaMo is to create one new piece of art each day. It might be a doodle, a painting, a scupture, a photograph, poem, song, interpretive dance, or whatever you please. But the object is to have 31 new pieces of art in the world, created by you, that didn't exist before -- that, and not to worry if it's any good or not, but just to try it.

Since my force of habit, for the last 20 years or so, has be to be exclusively verbal in my art, I've decided to devote this August to visual creations, and reawaken that part of my brain.   For those interested, here is My National Art-Making Month Gallery, of what I've done so far.

Well, the link for National Art Making Month is still valid.
But CapriUni's Gallery link is defunct.

It's not a link that can be fixed by a mudelf, it appears that the journal was deleted.

I find painting outdoors in August is best with no pollen, no falling leaves with good light and temperatures.

I did a picture that turned into/inspired an annual event in Italy - A KISSING CONVENTION.
