Rather strangely, the 3 LPs have been released as a double CD, with The first LP; "Five Hand Reel", on one CD and "For A'That" and "Earl O'Moray" on the second CD. Recently I was able to get the CD of the first LP -- I'll have to see if Dick can get the other two for us. I'd played to death the tape I'd made of the first LP. One of my all time favorite LPs! I saw them once at Cambridge FF, but the sound mix didn't really do them any favours. I'd be interested to hear what folks think of the reissues, and which are best. |

The next 2 - Bonnie Earl 'o Moray and For a'that were owned by RCA - and I think these are the 2 that are in dispute. RCA is now part of the SonyBMG empire. The last album - A bunch of Fives - was/is owned by Topic. Have I missed one? The best band of that genre in their heyday, but never really got the recognition they deserved. |
