I have been asked to teach the writing component of the semi-annual two-week Defence Public Affairs Course, and the first weekend of November falls right in the middle of it. Edmund is planning to be there, however, so the Getaway will not lack for civilizing influence from the Great White North. |

That extra holiday time will come in very handy for an insane dead-of-winter road trip to the Atlantic coast complete with mandolin, guitar and Edmund -- assuming Her Majesty doesn't have other plans for him. |
