I've been unable to get to www.woodstea.net, but an obituary is available at www.peasleefuneralhome.com/FuneralHome/

His wife Kas said Chip died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident 10 weeks ago when he hit a large pickup truck that had made a cross traffic turn (a left turn) in front of Chip. The proximal cause was massive pulmonary embolism that was not and could not have been detected.

There will be a Memorial Service Saturday 14 October 1:30 p.m. Farmington, NH at the Peaslee Funeral Home in Farmington, NH.

Otherwise known as Chip "Wild Goose" Chase, and he lived in Colorado for a number of years before moving back to New Hampshire.

Yes indeed, very sad -
and particularly distressing is the reported *way*
he died. I have a friend who narrowly missed this death,
also hit by a vehicle which didn't see him. My friend was on a bicycle.
I won't ask whether Chip was wearing a helmet (a valid question in NH).
His family and friends have enough to feel bad about.

I remember Woods Tea Co. bringing much joy to audiences
across central NY. I hope that the music can continue
to be a tribute to him.

Peace, Pamela
