He opened with a slow version of the Grateful Deads "Friend of the Devil" since Jerry Garcia had died just a few days earlier. A great show and a great date. It went well - we celibrate our 10th wedding anniversary tomorrow. |

I used to work next door to a local country-style restaurant and apparently I was the only one at my office who had never seen him when he stopped in to say "hello" to the restaurant proprietors. Sigh. I actually had to go to Iowa City to see him perform. How sad is that? |
