I guess she had Leukemia, but had treatment and was expected to recover. I remember a reunion concert, NYC I think, but I don't know about anything after that. I was in love with this woman in 1962. It started as a fansite run by a guy named Frodo, and was handed over (willingly) to the group itself. Looks like they had a few performance dates in the Fall of 2006 - not a full schedule, but encouraging. Once upon a time, I had an e-mail friendship with Noel Paul Stookey, and I met him several times. In fact, he's the one who introduced me to the Digital Tradition. For a time, I got free tickets to PP&M concerts a couple times a year. Then Noel moved away from the Main friends through whom I had contact with him. I met Mary a few times, but didn't get to know her. -Joe Offer- |
