Wow - 70 years old. Is she still singing?

I saw her on an interview someplace recently, Scrump. She still looked pretty good. I guess she had Leukemia, but had treatment and was expected to recover. I remember a reunion concert, NYC I think, but I don't know about anything after that.

I was in love with this woman in 1962. I was in the sixth grade.

I remember some snotty finger in ear English traditional singer referring to PP&M as Peter Paul, and Money.

Mary Travers is still singing and she seems to have recovered from the leukemia. And she is the same classy gal she always was.

Famous for her part in the line, "My name is Peter, but I'm not a Saint. My name is Paul and I'm not a Saint My name Is Mary and I'm not a Virgin!"

Well done Mary.

Oops! Sorry about that.

Happy Birthday.

The Peter, Paul and Mary Website is http://www.peterpaulandmary.com/, and a very good Website it is. It started as a fansite run by a guy named Frodo, and was handed over (willingly) to the group itself.

Looks like they had a few performance dates in the Fall of 2006 - not a full schedule, but encouraging.

Once upon a time, I had an e-mail friendship with Noel Paul Stookey, and I met him several times. In fact, he's the one who introduced me to the Digital Tradition. For a time, I got free tickets to PP&M concerts a couple times a year. Then Noel moved away from the Main friends through whom I had contact with him.

I met Mary a few times, but didn't get to know her.
