18 Dec 06 - 04:02 PM (#1912949) Subject: Malt Shovel Session From: Fliss Tony and I were made very welcome at the Malt Shovel in Worthington nr Ashby de la Zouch last Monday night by our friends Paul and Dawn who are the landlords. The session is 2nd Tuesday of the month and is quite a mix of genre. It was great to listen to classical guitar; harmonica; various styles of singing; poems. We had to find the village in the dark, so were pleased to travel home in the light... however it poured down all the way home on the A5. Hope to go again in better weather. fliss & tony ps I forgot to ask if there were any Mudcatters there! |
