29 Dec 06 - 04:32 PM (#1921547) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Seamus Kennedy Sorcha, there are no food problems - they just don't serve any! However, there are several good restaurants nearby, including a Greek place just across the parking-lot, and a Chipotle's (one of my favorites)on the other side of Iliff. And the Sheabeen lets you bring in outside food. Hope to see some of you there. Seamus |

31 Dec 06 - 01:19 AM (#1922862) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Johnhenry'shammer I live in Aurora! Can you give an address? Is there an age limit? I'd figure from your name and the name of the bar that this is an Irish show but could you specify for those of us who have never heard of you? |
31 Dec 06 - 01:35 AM (#1922869) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: katlaughing He doesn't have it listed on his website, yet, but you may learn more about Seamus on his website. Another Colorado Mudcatter, yea!! |

31 Dec 06 - 11:21 AM (#1923181) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Big Jim from Jackson If Colorado thinks it has trouble with all the snow, just wait until Seamus starts spreading his load of BS! It'll be deeper that the snow and not nearly so easy to scrape off the sidewalks and roads! In all seriousness, I envy you folks in Colorado. Seamus, are you going to be in Kansas City again this year? Or St. Louis? Or any place near Missouri? |
31 Dec 06 - 11:50 AM (#1923202) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Sorcha Thanks, kat. |
31 Dec 06 - 12:12 PM (#1923224) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Sorcha PS....the North End, if we make it, (and I don't know how many either) will probably need crash space. |

31 Dec 06 - 06:01 PM (#1923554) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Sorcha Let us work on that, JHH. I think we could swing it with a 'sponsor', ESP if one of your parents would attend too. When I took our daughter, the pub had NO problems, and of course, she wasn't allowed alcohol. |
01 Jan 07 - 01:15 AM (#1923746) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Johnhenry'shammer Well there's plenty of time to figure it out tween now and then. Don't figure my parent's could come though. It'd be good to meet some of you folks though. Put faces to names. So I hope it all works out. |

01 Jan 07 - 09:50 PM (#1924458) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Seamus Kennedy Sorry guys, I've been away for new year's eve. Johnhenry, if you want to be my 'roadie', you can carry my guitar in from the parking lot... No drinking, though. Actually, I'm not so sure the adult Mudcatters should be alllowed to drink, either! KT, maybe next year. Big Jim, unfortunately I won't be out your way either, KC or St. Louis. But I hope to see you somewhere along the way this year. Seamus |

08 Apr 07 - 11:48 AM (#2019840) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: katlaughing Rog has just told me he has to work that evening, covering some damn "event." (He's still the only one authorised to drive and operate the "remote" truck, which means a lot of evenings following the news reporters for live shots.) |
08 Apr 07 - 10:10 PM (#2020226) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Sorcha Well, damme, kat! Kate and I will be there with her new gentleman friend who is NOT her boyfriend. (what ever) Mr has to work. My friend Joe the Whistle player has to work too. Bert, you coming? Or shall we cancel too? It's gonna cost us, cause we have to buy a room..... |
08 Apr 07 - 11:41 PM (#2020264) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: katlaughing Sorry, Sorcha, though I know it comes as no surprise. |

18 Apr 07 - 10:52 PM (#2029561) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Sorcha Never. Never has, never will. LOL! Seamus, they are 'planning' on an after concert 'concert', are staying at the Illif Street Comfort Inn Suites, and (wonder of wonders!) taking a cab from the motel to the pub and back!!!! Perhaps my car will be safe after all!!!! PS--another reason I'm not coming. I can't 'speak' with Maggie the Fiddle very well these days; severe carpal tunnel in the right hand. See Dr, hopefully for a surg date, on Monday April 23. Cut N Paste in my future. |
18 Apr 07 - 11:43 PM (#2029593) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Bert You're right Sorkieluv. Nobody ever recovers from a Seamus concert. I'm saving my pennies and hoping that I can make it. |
19 Apr 07 - 12:06 AM (#2029623) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Seamus Kennedy Sorcha - sorry to hear about the carpal tunnel. Bummer! I hope you get it cleared up. Who says kids aren't sensible. Cabbing it back from the pub...good move! Now I don't have to monitor them! *G* Bert, I look forward to renewing old acquaintance. Peace, the show is on Friday the 20th, but Colorado seems to have recovered from the last time I was there. This is my road-trip from hell coming up. Friday in Aurora, CO; Saturday in Palm Springs, CA; Sunday house concert in Torrance, CA; Monday in Oakland, CA visiting my son; Tuesday through Thursday in the London Bridge Pub, Monterey, CA; Friday through Sunday at the Sacramento Highland games in Woodland, CA. But I love it. Seamus |

19 Apr 07 - 12:28 AM (#2029640) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Peace Yeppers. He's all that and more. I hope the day comes I can see him live. He sounds on CD like he'd be one helluvan entertainer. His sense of humour is outrageous, and he is a nice guy. Don't get much better than that. |
19 Apr 07 - 12:35 AM (#2029645) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: katlaughing Cripes, Seamus, have a care will you with all that jet-setting!**bg** Are you going to be at Estes Park this Fall? |

24 Apr 07 - 12:08 AM (#2034020) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Sorcha I guess a lovely time was had by all. No 'after party' as Seamus had to get up at 4 AM. Even tho she lives here, I haven't been able to connect with the daughter for long enough to get a detailed report. She did say that 'Dame Cecelia' was there. That is an old SCA aquaintence who lives in the Denver area and is a major supporter of the Estes Park Highland Games. Soldier On Seamus, we'll catch up someday!! |
24 Apr 07 - 01:53 AM (#2034052) Subject: RE: Seamus is coming to Colorado From: Bert Dammit, I couldn't go at the last minute. Catch you next time Seamus. |
