I would imagine the subject matter is too specific to the American depression for this to be the case, but Glenn Miller covered it, with altered, non-specific lyrics, so it's not beyond the bounds of possibility. De Sylva, Lew Brown and Ray Henderson - Originally published in 1923), changing the lyric to "You're the Pream in My Coffee". |

They would sing the song, and when they got to the end of the chorus ("...and let's have another piece of pie"), someone would get a pie in the face. Now that's entertainment! Don |
