I heard a song the other day by a Irish (maybe he was from Scotland) singer, the song was about a young man who used to stand tall but after working in the mines he was a bent man, the singer had a very heavy brogue and his last name started with a B. That's all I know and I would really like to find out who sang this song. Thanks, Snoozer |

Is this the one you are looking for? I can only remember the chorus but I'm sure others will know the song |

There is another song I would like to find..someone told me what it was before but now I forget. Someone worked in the mines and got hunchbacked from it and went to work in the woods, where they made fun of him for not being a great tree chopper. So one day there was a terrible fire and he grabs a shovel I think and digs a trench perhaps and saves them...it was really a powerful song. mg |
