Tee Shirt Time

The time has come for me to place a new Tee shirt order. If you're considering ordering one, please let me know what size you want (M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL).

If you're not considering buying one, reconsider!

Dick,

Are we talking men's or so-called unisex sizing, with straight-down bottoms, or more women's with wider bottoms for those good "birthing-baby" hips? Then I'll know what size I want:-)

I AM considering! Thanks! katlaughing

Sizing is whatever Haynes puts on their Tees.

Alison, that depends if it went by way of a Southwesterly route, (the faster of the two) or went Northeasterly, (the long way). Perhaps instead of standing watch for it at the front door, you should look out the back! ***BG***

Aw Roger, you are no admiting to your waist size, just as I didn't admit to mine. Sure I ordered an XL, not because of my svelte waist, but to accomodate my BROAD shoulders!! (Believe that and I have a bridge I'll sell real cheap!)

XL for me. Any hope you could bring it down?

I know I'm paying for the sin of not paying much attention to the original t-shirt discussion, but is there any hope of someday getting the banjo & catfish design on a t-shirt?

I'm after an L, and anyone caught wearing one in "Susan's Kitchen" in Montpelier VT will get a "substantial discount" on dinner. I promis I won't serve any of the stuff described in the "food songs" thread.

Ferrara-The catfish-in-a-banjo is very nice, but multi-color silkscreening is difficult and more expensive. I'm considering the possibility of getting embroidered patches and/or baseball caps using the design.

Alison- I've shipped all but one of the or5ders I received checks for (temporarily out of Large); I'll check with Max to see if he hasa credit card order from you.

We ran out of M and L; re-ordered today. This is NOT a "What Size are Mudcatters" thread; I have to order a bunch at a time, and I'd just as soon not lay out money for sizes that proplr don't want. Thanx for your responses.

In the good old days there was just S/M & L and I can remember fitting into each size. However my growth spurt co-incided with the XL,XXL and now even XXXL.

My problem is I can't decided if I'm XXL or XXXL.

They say that " everything's bigger in the U.S.of A "

So I'm confused...

Hi Dick, I'm still not clear how the sizes you quote relate to actaul body mass. I've got T shirts labelled S that are bigger than others labelled L. If you can't be precise I suppose I'd opt for either M or L and hope.

Well, if Paul G. got his, and he lives in Jacksonville, then I should see mine any day now as well.

Paul, I wasn't aware of the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival, is it a yearly event? I've found one cassette of his and love it. Are you aware of any more of his works on tape or CD? Where may they be obtained? It's a shame we lost him so early, he was full of humour, something we could all use a little more of.

Banjer:

This year marks the third annual Gamble Rogers Folk Festival in St. Augustine. Sort of a resurrection of the old St. Augustine Folk Festival, but better. Arlo Guthrie will be among the headliners this year.

Just about all of Gamble's recordings have been remastered and released on CD (Oklawaha Records). They are available from the Friends of Florida Folk booth at the festival. Mail order may be an option. FOFF has a web site at www.foff.org. Also may be available through some of the internet stores like Eldery.

You're right about his wit and humor. I have my copy of Oklawaha County Laissez-Faire in hand...recorded live in Charleston in 1988. Incredible talent. Incredible loss.

P.G.

Thanks, Paul, for the information. Too late this year but perhaps I can plan on it for next year. Here in St. Petersburg I know of several FOFF members that may have access to those tapes. One lives not far from here and this will be a good reason to go see him again! I have been considering joining the FOFF for some time now, may just end the procrastinanting and do it! I have the FOFF web site in my list of bookmarks.

Dick, after 25 years of doing tee shirt designs... I quit wearing tee shirts long ago. HOWEVER, I sure wish you would do a soft denim cap with a machine embroidered Mudcat logo on it. You don't have to worry about ordering so many different sizes, like you do with shirts, and a cap can be seen above the crowd. Maybe in the future? I do as many designs for embroidered caps and shirts as I do for printed tees. They are very popular with all ages. Whether it is warm or cold, you can still wear your hat for sunshade or rain protection. Just a thought.

Er, also dick, if you ever get around to doing T-shirts in basic white (maybe I will have to wait for the patch), I will buy, but not till then. I perspirate too much for dark colours. I think I said this in an earlier thread (he said shirtily).

Yours, Peter T.

The color is kind of important. We want to be able to spot other mudcatters from afar at festivals and such. Hmmm. Would anyone wear a mudcat hat?

Max, the kind of cap I am thinking of would be similar to this stonewashed embroidered cap by Imperial. There are lots of sources for caps. Your current shirt printer may also do embroidered caps. (I have other sources if you need a referral.) stonewashed cap here

Thanks guys.....

I am now sitting here in my Mudcat T-shirt, (I like the darker colour BTW). For any of you girls wondering about how big the sizes are....... I ordered a Medium. (I am a 10-12 UK size .. not US... think they're smaller over there so I'd be a ??6-8 or so there) and it fits well... loose enough to go over leggings. The deal was if the M was too big I'd give it to alan of Oz and order a smaller one... looks like he'll have to get his own now.... **grin**

Thanks again
