It was all a bit avant garde really----he used "the F word" , for example, which in those days was quite shocking !!! But he was pointing out that the first batch of "Sound of Silence" EP records had to be withdrawn, because nobody noticed that, written on the subway wall in front of which Simon & Garfunkel were photographed,was the graffito " Fuck You " . That was his story, anyway !! I never cared for him much,personally----I find him too short to be taken seriously ! |
