Subject: RE: Christmas Truce From: Joe Offer Date: 20 Nov 20 - 01:40 PM Theater Latté Da has been performing All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 in the US for at least a few years. They will broadcast it on PBS (public television) in the US on Friday, November 27. No doubt, it will be broadcast several times, and will be available for purchase sooner or later. I think it was last Christmas that my friend Robert Rodriquez saw it in Manhattan. He loved it. https://www.pbs.org/show/all-calm-christmas-truce-1914/ |

Subject: RE: Christmas Truce From: GUEST,Felipa Date: 20 Nov 20 - 02:52 PM If you contact the BBC they may be able to help you. Someone I know got access to a radio programme which was no longer available on line when she wished to listen to it to help with research for a story she was writing. It would be interesting to read something of your grandfather's story. Has he been interviewed by anyone, are some of his memories conserved? |
