Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Bonnie Tyneside From: DeeAnn Date: 06 Mar 00 - 12:58 AM I've searched the "Geordie Songs, Jokes and Recitations," book for the title, "Bonnie Tyneside," but wasn't able to find anything on this particular tune. I found a reference to the Geordie book on a UK site at http://www.geordiepride.demon.co.uk/blaydon_races.htm Am embarrassed to say that I do not even know who the Geordie people were, are or where in fact in the UK they might be located. Does this tweak anyone's memory? I would sure like to find the lyrics or history behind it. Regards, DeeAnn |
