I've been looking for this song ever since I first learnt and sung it about 20years ago. Does anybody out there know it? What happened to Johnathan Kelly, are you out there?

The very useful "Digitrad and Forum Search" on the main Forum page, asked to search for cursed anna, returns this discussion from a few years back, which includes lyric, tune in miditext and abc formats, and guitar chords:  Cursed Anna

I have got them somewhere, although the accuracy may not be perfect, from memory they go as follows, have you check the DT

I saw him at the Free Trade Hall Manchester when his self-titled album came out.

I think he was opening for the Strawbs. He did a great set which included 'The Ballad of Cursed Anna's Stare'

I later bought an album by a band called 'Johnathan Edwards Outside' I'm sure it was the same bloke (it looked like him on the cover) but have always been curious as to why he may have changed his name.

His gigs always got good reviews and I'd love to know what he's up to now.

I haven't checked the previous discussion link, but if you're stuck I could dig the (VINYL!) album out and get you the words and a pretty good idea of the chords to the song.

You folks have made my day - I've been racking my (limited) brains for months trying to recall the name of the bloke who sang 'Sligo Fair' or the title of the LP or anything else on it.... haven't heard it since 1977! Thanks for the info... now if I could just track down the record....
