Subject: Long Time Travelin' From: MMario Date: 03 May 01 - 01:59 PM okay folks - sending out an S.O.S. (That is SAVE OUR SANITY) here. Long Time Travelin' is one of the "missing tunes" in the DT. At the recent PA mudgather (see thread) Burke kindly provided me with the music from a Sacred Harp book. I sent the soprano line off to Joe. He told me it didn't match up with any of the three recordings he listened to. I sent him the tenor line. Ditto. Does anyone know if the melody line IS equal to any of the parts or is it a synthesis? |
