Howdy all,

Don't know how many people here this might interest, but here's a link to Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys (+ me on harmonica) performing Merle Travis' (trad?) 'Nine Pound Hammer (Roll on Buddy)' about three weeks ago in Lawrence, KS.

Niced job, Stephen. Thanks.

What was the occasion? Was this a college concert?

I met Ralph in London last November to interview him for my university's radio station, and we got on pretty well. Anyway, I happened to find myself in the midwest this summer so I tracked down Ralph on tour to interview him again... he invited me to 'tag along' for the remaining couple of gigs. Then, having heard me jam along to something someone was playing on the tour bus he invited me up on stage for a few songs each night.
