I am looking for a song called THE SUSIE ANNA WALTZ. I have no idea how "susie anna" is spelled. It could be suzianna or any variation. It also might be called "Put your little foot down". I'd be grateful for any assistance.

Doubtfully suggested, but "Susie Waltz" by A Schumann, 1872, in American Memory.

La Varso(u)vianna (sometimes corrupted to Put your little foot) is still very popular and traditional in Mexico and New Mexico (we all had to learn to dance this figure in grade school in Santa Fe and Albuquerque).

Thanks, everyone. I think we've got it right. And I'm guessing that "Susie Anne" is a corruption of "Varsouvianna", the formal name for "Put your little foot...".   Thanks so much.
