Years ago, in about 1975 I heard a beautiful album track, which I'm sure would be called The Cursed Anna's stare. It starts "As I was walking homewards in the early morning light" and tells the story of a young man who is warned against passing through a wood by an old man with a beard. He ignores the warning and makes his way into the wood. After a while he sees a beatiful woman. They end up making love, and then she turns into a young girl and runs off, and when he looks into the river at his reflection, he's turned into, yes, an old man with a beard! It's a lovely song, and I'd love to know the full lyricsm and if possible who recorded it. Can anyone help? Thank

Well, it was written by Jonathan Kelly, who had a couple of albums out in the early '70s....

Hope these lyrics get posted this weekend, I am visiting my niece Anna (among a bunch of other relatives) who would love this song.
