There was an email from Les (via his agent) on the board at the Bothy FC last night. Apparently he's home, having had thrombolysis, and is waiting for an angiogram. He's got loads of different pills, and he says he's experimenting with deep fried aspirin.

I was just on a website which gave Les's date of birth as January 30th 1947. If that is true, the lad is now 60, congratulations Les.

Tell Les to get his bus pass. They are betterm than credit cards every time you use them they save you money.

And he gets free prescriptions now - I hadn't realised that for a year after I turned 60, and I was still paying up. I'd thought they didn't come free till I was 65.

Les gets free prescriptions anyway because he has the good sense to live in the People's Republic of Wales. Where we all get free prescriptions.

Yes he does. Les and I spent his birthday at the same gig last week, a Steve Knightley concert at Alexanders Jazz Theatre in Chester.
