Probably the king of "zipper songs", this parody of a gospel hymn has
been used as a rallying song for almost every union,every demonstration and
most political groups for over a half-century. My personal favorite dates
a schism in the American Communist Party in the 1940's when they sang:

Browder (Earl) is our leader, he must be removed
Browder is our leader, he must be removed
Just like a tree that's standing in the highway,
