It was my baby, that Black Backbiting Bee.

Gonna take my razor, cut my honeysuckle vine. (2x)
Some black bee done stole that honey of mine.

Rather have my hand in shackles, my body on some railroad track. (2x)
Than to have that black bee bite me in my back.

It's raining in my kitchen, lightning on my wall. (2x)
I know by that, some mule is kicking in my stall.
