I, too, wonder how the hell we all ended up here. I recently went through bbc and David's resource page looking at old photos and new photos.

Somehow we all look like we should be in the same crowd. Sure, age has something to do with it (a bunch of unindicted co-conspirator hippies or whatever), but there is something else on which I can't place a defining word.

I suspect for many of us our wit has been in the forefront of our intereactions. Some of us truly live by our wits. I'm not much for rolling on the floor and laughing my ass off, but my son does wonder sometimes why I laugh out louc and other times tears of joy or sadness grace my face.

There are times now when I am not as interested as I used to be and then I read a thread about a possum and a web page and I am hooked all over again.
