Why not weekly. It is a pretty extensive list and monthly would just be impossible to sit through. It is just long enough now.

I'm all for supporting the Mudcat and buying through Camsco and other supporters is one way for me and you to do that.

I suspect it is easy to get complacent about the amount of work that goes into a volunteer effort if you are not the one doing the work.

The local venue is closed this year. The woman who masterminded it for maybe 15 years decided to call it quits. She brought so much good music into Baltimore and provided me with many a musical memory. I do not know how she gave up nearly every Friday night for all of those years except for love of the music. It did not surprise me that at some point she just had to say "no more".

So lets not take Max for granted. I do draw the line at Mudcat solicitations over the phone during my dinner hour however. Then I will get on my high horse and complain loudly.
