I can't sing the line "Mendocino Thunder F**k." I'm an addictions counselor by trade and I'm not anti-drug, but I try to avoid "glorifying" drug use.


My substitute is:

My friend Sue Trainor, currently in the trio "Hot Soup", has put a lot of miles on this song as well. She, too, has altered the line (although I don't remember her words).   I've been accused of stealing this song from her, but I know for a fact we both learned it from a gift tape sent to us by a mutual friend.
