Don West ran a "folk school" at Pipestem, WV, at which his daughter, Hedy, was an occasional participant. Don was a poet, union organizer, and all-around activist, but I'm not aware of any formal connection he might have had with Highlander. Wasn't Hamper McBee, who recorded an album some years ago, connected with Highlander in some way? Can't remember the label. Sandy
