For the record: The tune Pete Seeger used for "I Come and Stand at Every Door" was originally written by Jim Waters for the ballad of the Great Silkie. He wrote it while he was attending college at MIT. Many years ago, he gave Folk-Legacy the copyright to help us release more recordings of field recordings. Only a few of those who have recorded the tune have honored the copyright, but Pete Seeger always has! Sandy
