Bert Jansch is the acoustic guitarist who has probably had more influence than anyone else in developing modern finger picking style.I first came acoss him around 1965 when his first solo album was released. The impact that album had in acoustic guitar circles was similar to the release a few years later of ``Sergent Pepper´´. This thread seems rather negative. Bert has made over 30 solo albums, plus several with John Rebourn, and together with ``THE PENTANGLE´´. There is a song book which came out in 1967;don't know if there are any more, though there probably is.The guy has written dozens of songs He is also still touring.....saw on his gig list that he'll be at the ``Celts In Kent´´Festival 14/15 Nov.
Greetings John.
